Chapter 89 - Huo YanXiao v. Qin ZiMing (1)

The little bit of jealousy inside him seemed to be coated in poison and Qin ZiMing felt that all if his blood was screaming.

He has always had what he wanted his entire life. He was the sole heir of the Qin’s, the proof of the joining of the Qin’s and the Qi’s.

The Qi’s started going downhill in recent years, but as his mother was married into the Qin’s, she still has the highest status within the Qi’s.

He was the most loved son in the family. Even Qin Ziyi, even though the family provided her with sufficient food and clothing, nobody really gave her a lot of love and caring.

It seemed the only setback in his life was his relationship with Li ManGe.

His family didn’t like the woman that he chose to date and it was the first time ever he felt rebellious. After all, his family had given him to him on every other issue, so why not this one also? The more they objected, the more passionate he was with Li ManGe.

Up until the point he saw Li ManGe’s true color a while back, then he suddenly lost all interest in her.

But, that wasn’t the only thing not going his way recently. Huo YanXiao turned out to be Qin Hai’s son, his half-brother!

Qin ZiMing was familiar with Huo YanXiao’s style in business. They had come head to head a few times in the past and each time Huo YanXiao was able to one up him.

Apparently, Qin Hai was also well aware that Huo YanXiao was an unruly wolf when it came to the business realm.

Qin ZiMing could never forget how excited Qin Hai was when he learned that Huo YanXiao was his son. He was more excited than when Qin ZiMing had signed his very first contract.

That’s when he realized that, deep down under, Qin Hai wasn’t that proud of his achievements.

Now that there was comparison, Qin Hai all the more wasn’t trying to hide his feelings on this!

So, he was just a mediocre substitute in his father’s eyes all these years?

And now, hearing his words, the girl in front of him didn’t look like she felt betrayed at all.

Was she so shocked that she couldn’t process the information? Qin ZiMing felt that he could try harder to open her eyes.

“If you weren’t the daughter of the Nie’s, Huo YanXiao would never marry you.” Qin ZiMing’s tone was very sarcastic. “By the same token, if the Nie’s princess was someone else, he would marry her as well.”

By now, Nie AnAn has truly been angered.

She hadn’t expected the original male lead in the book to be so annoying! Her fingers balled into fist and she was on the edge of exploding.

Qin ZiMing only chuckled when he saw her trembling pitifully. “If you don’t believe me, I can prove it to you.”

Having said that, he lowered his head. “Say, if Huo YanXiao saw us being intimate with each other, what would he do? I am guessing that he still wouldn’t give up on the marriage alliance. After all, he doesn’t care about you at all…”

When he finished the word “all”, he felt a sudden pain on his cheek and he was stunned all of a sudden.

Nie AnAn was still angry after she had struck him. She took a step back and her petite body was ready to go again. She lifted up her leg and gave Qin ZiMing a swift kick.

Qin ZiMing was caught off guard by her viciousness and stumbled a few steps backward, bumping into the coconut tree behind him.

“Nie AnAn, are you crazy?” He was enraged and wanted to lunge at her.
