Chapter 73 - Adoptive Brother vs Real Brother (4)

“There’s something I want to discuss with you,” said Nie ChengFeng as he looked at Nie AnAn. “Can you lose that suffix when you refer to me?”

“Okay, brother,” nodded Nie AnAn, smiling docilely.

“How about Big Brother,” said Nie ChengFeng.

“Big….... Brother,” said Nie AnAn, purposefully inserting a long pause in between the two words.

Nie ChengFeng gritted his teeth and decided to drop the subject.

He turned on his cellphone again and saw another 10 or so messages under his friend’s circle, all of them asking him what was going in. Still nothing from Huo YanXiao.

Right when he was about to respond to everyone’s inquiry with one official announcement that Nie AnAn was his biological sister, another message popped up.

Nie ChengFeng’s interest was piqued when he saw that the profile picture resembled Huo YanXiao.

He clicked it open right away.

Huo YanXiao: “Mr. Nie is welcome to cover over to my place next time and give AnAn’s steamed pork ribs with rice powder, steamed combo with rice powder, and picture collage a try.”

Nie ChengFeng, “……”

Why did he get the feeling that Huo YanXiao was like a high-ranking concubine in a Ching period drama? Or was that just his imagination?

Even though everyone at the Nie’s asked Nie AnAn to go back and stay with them, Nie AnAn said she’d need a little more time.

Father Nie agreed with her after she had said that.

After all, ever since she was lost at age two and picked up by Huo YanXiao at age three, all the way up to her being 20 years old now, she had been with Huo YanXiao.

It would not be right to move out right away after she had found her birth parents.

Plus, they had planned to go to Huo YanXiao’s place to thank him officially. A favor like that could not be summed up in just a few sentences.

That afternoon, after leaving the shopping mall, Nie AnAn went back to Huo YanXiao’s mansion directly with her new ball gown.

Huo YanXiao had dinner plans that night and was home a little bit later than usual.

Nie AnAn was just about to let him know that she’d be attending the Qin’s banquet with the Nie’s on Saturday when she realized that Huo YanXiao had already gone into the bathroom. She figured she’d let him know in a little bit.

Nevertheless, before she had walked out of Huo YanXiao’s room, she heard his cellphone, which was left next to the bay window in his bedroom, ring.

Nie AnAn went over quickly and picked it up, planning to hand it over to him through the cracked door.

But before she had reached the bathroom, the door swung open suddenly and a man’s long leg had already stepped out of it.

Apparently, Huo YanXiao, not expecting Nie AnAn in his bedroom, didn’t even have a towel around his waist.

Phone in her hand, Nie AnAn looked at the man in shock; her eyes were wide and round. Water was dripping down from him, there were bubbles in his hair, and he was stark naked.

Nie AnAn heard a loud ringing noise inside her head, and she had no idea how to respond. In her eyes, there was still that slender, tall body with not one ounce of extra fat.

The cellphone was still ringing in her hand. As though she had just recollected herself, she looked down at the cellphone in her hand and handed it over to him as she said to him, stuttering a little, “Big brother, your phone is ringing.”

The man snatched the phone from her with his beautiful hand and quickly turned around and closed the bathroom door.
