Chapter 54 - Huo YanXiao’s Family Background Revealed (1)

[Gossip about “Gold Medal Inn” – The Secret Kinships That Nobody Knew About This Season’s Two Secret Guests]

The post was made by a blog owner who specialized in entertainment gossip. He did not have a lot of fans, just a bit over 10,000, which was why there were only a handful of feedback after it was posted.

But, nothing could stop mankind’s nature to gossip.

Due to Huo YanXiao’s look and aura, many people would love to find out anything about him that was not business-related. The post came just in time; which was also why it exploded on the web just three hours after it was posted.

According to the blogger, Huo YanXiao and Qin ZiMing very well might be half-brothers – meaning that, Huo YanXiao very well might be one of the Qin’s.

As for how he ended up growing on the streets instead of at the Qin’s, that’s another drama of a prominent family.

Words on the street was that Qin Hai, Qin ZiMing’s father, had a lover by the name of Huo JiaQi in his earlier days.

Huo JiaQi came from a regular family. Even though Qin Hai insisted on being together, he finally gave into his family’s pressure and married his current wife.

Huo JiaQi very likely already had Huo YanXiao by the time the two of them split up.

That was also the reason why Huo YanXiao was six months older than Qin ZiMing.

Yet, the Qi’s, the Qin’s in-laws, weren't going to stand by and do nothing when there was a woman out there that could give their families a hard time at any given time.

They went on to get rid of Huo JiaQi.

Huo JiaQi was on the run. Also owing to the fact that she has not been in her best of health since she had given birth to Huo YanXiao, she passed away when Huo YanXiao was just two years old.

That was how Huo YanXiao ended up on the streets and did all sorts of things until he had an encounter when he was a little over ten and finally turned out to be who he was today.

The gossip blogger sounded very convincing. He even said that if Huo YanXiao was truly the son of Qin Hai, then he would be in danger blah blah blah. Finally, he even added an emoji with a zipper, implying that he wouldn’t say anymore beyond that.

The comments below had already exploded. Most of the readers didn’t believe in it. After all, Huo YanXiao looked nothing like Qin ZiMing, or even Qin Hai.

Others were very excited by it and waited for further evidence to turn up.

Some even said that as both Huo YanXiao and Qin ZiMing were at the filming locations, that they would sneak over there, get their hair, and sent in for a DNA test.

There were all sorts of discussions, but right now, Huo YanXiao had already returned to his room.

As one of the perks of a secret guest, he still has the privilege to use his cellphone, and he was able to read everything about himself and Qin ZiMing on the internet.

Huo YanXiao’s lips curved up and a profound look could be seen in his eyes.

The show has now just begun.

He remembered clearly how he died in his previous life.

The rainy night just before he died. The feeling of the death reaper’s grip closing in tighter and tighter slowly around his neck. Those memories had all been burned into his soul.

Why was it that he contracted the virus right after he had learned that there might be more to where he came from?

And the Qin’s just so happened to have a biopharmaceutical company overseas.

If it was only a single incident, that might still be a coincidence, but what if there were many of them?

That’s right. He leaked that on purpose. The timing of the news being released, joining the filming of “Gold Medal Inn” to increase his exposure. It was all part of his plan.

He wanted to see – now that the entire country had heard about it – how the Qin’s and the Qi’s would still try to get to him!

Everything that he had lost in the past, he would get it all back in this lifetime.
