Ye Qing put on an apologetic look. With a little sadness in her voice, she said, “I’m sorry.”
There was a slight sarcasm in Chen Qinyan’s smile.

Chen Qinyan, “I overheard that you are looking for a job currently?”

Chen Qinyan casually said, “I have a job offer. What say you play the role of Ah Mian’s mother? All you need to do is to take her to and from kindergarten and spend some time playing with her regularly.”

Ye Qing bit her lip lightly. Looking at the little girl squatting down and stroking the ribbon on her dress outside the coffee shop, she said in a pitiful voice, “That was so sad. Such a young age and her mom’s not around anymore.”
She paused and looked down, making her seemed sadder, and said, “If I looked so much like Ah Mian’s mother, it must be meant to be. I will be happy to help.”
Chen Qinyan smiled and said with a little coldness in his voice, “You are such a nice lady. I am glad that you decided to accept my offer.”
Ye Qing shook her head and said with a little awkwardness, “No problem. That is my duty.”
Having said that, they proceeded to discuss some more details. Finishing up the last sip of coffee in her cup, she walked out of the coffee shop before Chen Qinyan.
Seeing that, little kiddo Chen Mian stood up immediately, ran toward her, and threw herself into her arms, “Mommy! How did your conversation with daddy go?”
Ye Qing patted her on her head and wiped away the frosting around her mouth. She picked up the girl’s hand and said affectionately, “It went great. Let’s go. Mommy will take you home.”
Little kiddo Chen Mian was a little stunned, then turning to give her dad a look and winked at him, she happily bounced up to her mommy, “Mommy, mommy. Does that mean you will be staying at our mansion with us from now on?”
Ye Qing’s eyes and brows curved, “Of course.”
Chen Mian was so happy she could fly. She ran up in front of her. Standing on her tippy toes, she used all her might to pull open the door to the back seat. Then, standing outside in the most gentlemanly way, she said in a sweet voice, “Mommy, you go inside first. Be careful not to bump your head!”
Ye Qing was very surprised by this treatment. She stroked the child on her head and got inside the car as requested.
Seeing that her mommy had gotten inside of the car, Chen Mian climbed in after her and slammed the door shut behind her.
Chen Qinyan, standing behind the two of them, lifted his brows slightly.
The very next second, his daughter poked her head out of the window and gave him an order, “Daddy! You take the passenger seat!”
