For the time being, seeing that Ye Qing had forwarded her email, Big Aunt praised her a few more times and went home happily.
Ye Qing peeled an orange, leaned back in her chair, and comfortably took a deep breath. Her eyes curled from her smile.
She was, indeed, the best employee and best cousin in the world. She always remembered any favors that she had received and always remembered to reciprocate.

She wasn’t sure if she had over-returned the favor, which caused the higher powers to have some opinion about that.
An hour after that, she received a phone call from her “sugar daddy” – her current renter.
“Qing-jie, we don’t want to rent your place any more. We are not asking for our deposit back, and we will be moving out today. When can you come over so we can give the key back to you?”
Ye Qing’s relaxing smile froze on her face immediately, and she asked in surprise, “Why don’t you want to rent it anymore?”

She tried a few of them, and all of the conversations ended the same way.
They all happily reassured her that they’d rent out her place and she could trust them.
An hour later, these places would call her back, apologize, and said there were some issues with her place that that they wouldn’t dare to manage it for her. And, they’d all hang up before Ye Qing could ask anything, nor would they pick up the phone again when she called back.
She laid down with her phone in her hand.
It was overcast today, and the wind was chilly. The sky was grey and would probably start raining later in the day.
Ye Qing narrowed her eyes and exuded a killing intent.
The condo has…. Issues?

Wait till she found out who was responsible for all this.
She immediately purchased tickets back to City S for the next day.
